What we collect
To activate and manage your licence we store your email address, a one-way hashed identifier of each Mac you activate, and your purchase history.
What we never collect
We do not collect what you type. Converting your keystrokes to Devanagari happens entirely on your own Mac and is never sent anywhere. AksharaIME does contact our server periodically to check your licence is still valid — that request carries the hashed device identifier and your licence token, and nothing else. No keystrokes, no text, no application names, no timing information.
Who processes your data
- Paddle.com — payment processing (Merchant of Record).Their privacy policy.
- Supabase — account authentication and licence storage.
- Resend — delivering sign-in and account emails.
Sign-in
We use passwordless sign-in — a one-time code by email, or Sign in with Google. We never store a password.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
